DescriptionThe Collection consists of some book material but principally of a very significant collection of exhibition catalogues from galleries world wide. The coverage of the Collection is primarily of post-1960s art but items covering earlier periods in the history of art are also included.

ArrangementCatalogued material is in shelfmark order. Uncatalogued material is arranged in two separate sequences. In the first sequence the catalogues are arranged alphabetically by country. In the second the catalogues are arranged alphabetically by artist.

The collection is reference only and is housed on the open shelves in the North Gallery on the second floor of Headington Library.
