AdminHistoryVisual Publications Ltd was founded by John Aspinwall in 1948. He was one of the earliest producers of filmstrips for education and became the most successful audio-visual publisher in the country. The packs were produced primarily for the secondary school market. The company closed in 2005.
CustodialHistoryThe company passed to Peter Loveday, and, after the closure of the company, the collection was donated by Peter Loveday and his wife Sarah (daughter of John Aspinwall).
