TitleFlat Roof House: Restoration
Admin/Biog HistoryThe Flat Roof House in Little Frieth, Buckinghamshire, was a private house built by Colin Lucas in 1933-1935 for Margaret Sewell (a friend of Lucas' wife) as a weekend house for Sewell and her daughter, Phillida Sewell, an actress. Phillida stayed at the property until her death in 1988 and, after being sold in 1999, the property was extensively refurbished by Dennis Sharp Architects in 2001.

-Architectural reports and drawings, dated 1999, produced by Dennis Sharp Architects, including layout plans, sections and elevations, and boundary survey as well as a photocopy of a certificate of completion of work from Wycombe District Council
-A draft article [by Sharp] entitled 'Sharp angles: A new image for a 30s concrete house'
-A draft report by Yasmin Shariff, dated May 2001, outlining the Flat Roof House restoration project for (what appears to be) the Crown Properties Conservation Award.
