Admin/Biog HistoryThe Concrete House, 4 The Ridgeway, Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, was a private house built by Amyas Connell and Basil Ward (of Connell and Ward) in 1934-1935 for Ronald Gunn, the Director of Imperial Tobacco, and his family, using Bristol-based contractors, C.A. Hayes and Sons. The cement was supplied by Cement Marketing Co.
