TitleHunting Art Prizes Records, 1991
Admin/Biog HistoryFollowing the appointment of Marshall Communications in 1990 to deal with HAP public relations, an arrangement was agreed with 'The Observer' in September 1990 to promote the prizes. Initially, it was suggested that a HAP judge would be selected from 'The Observer' staff, but as there were already a deliberately uneven number of judges to prevent stalemate from occurring, this was deferred to the 1992 prizes and it was agreed for 1991 that Brian Sewell who was already on the judging panel, would write an article about the competition for 'The Observer'. The HAP was also promoted in an 'Observer Colour Supplement' and the HAP became The Hunting/Observer Art Prizes. The arrangement also continued for the 1992 1993 HAP competitions.
